OPETH announce one-off Irish show

OPETH, the Swedish band who almost redefine the term ‘critically acclaimed', are set to play a show in Ireland in addition to their confirmation on to the bill of this year's Download Festival at Donington Park in June.

Dubbed the ‘heavy metal Pink Floyd', OPETH, whose current album ‘Ghost Reveries' picked up ‘Album of the Year' gongs and top reviews ratings almost across the board in the UK hard rock and metal press, are set to play Dublin's Ambassador Theatre on 12th June. Tickets are €30 (plus booking fee) from www.tickets.ie and are also available now from the Ambassador box office (+353 1 890 925100).

Download runs from 9th to 11th June. Tickets are on sale now from www.downloadfestival.co.uk
