Opeth Announce Official Signing To Roadrunner
|
Rumors have been floating around in the past month about Opeth signing to Roadrunner Records. Well as you might have already figured they have indeed finalized their signing with Roadrunner through confirmation with Mtv.com.
The band's frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt has revealed that the band will be releasing a new album, which will be the follow up to "Damnation" and also will be self produced by the band without long time producer and friend Steve Wilson of Porcupine Tree. The album, according to Akerfeldt, is due out by the end of August.
Some tracks on the album will be "Ghost of Tradition", "The Baying of the Hounds" and "Isolation Years". Also, the band will be out on the Sounds Of The Underground tour this summer.
