Rage Against The Machine Attract Huge Numbers At Anti-War Gig

Rage Against The Machine attracted a huge crowd as they headlined an anti-war concert in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday.

In June, the politically motivated rockers announced they would stage gigs outside upcoming presidential conventions in August and September in order to disrupt the run-up to the election in November. And the band kept to their promise, playing a packed gig to almost 9,000 fans who were there to support the Iraq Veterans Against the War at Denver's Coliseum.

The group performed just a day before Barack Obama accepted the Democratic Party's nomination as leader and official presidential candidate.

Rage Against The Machine have vowed to perform at a similar event during the Republican Convention next month.
