Robert Plant Kills Led Zeppelin Tour Rumors

Led Zeppelin have quashed rumors they are to tour following the success of their one-off gig in London on Monday - after singer Robert Plant announced a string of solo tour dates.

It was hoped the band would play additional dates following the landmark gig in the British capital, but plans for a comeback tour in 2008 have been scuppered after the frontman revealed his forthcoming 11-date solo tour of Europe with singer Alison Krauss in May.

Fans expressed their disappointment on the band's official website, with one writing, "Oh dear - no Led Zep tour in 2008. I really am sick to my stomach."
