Swiss metalcore band CATARACT are looking for a replacement for guitarist Simon Füllemann who left the band on January 15th "to pursue his own projects." A statement on the matter follows:
"All right, as we announced, here's a little hint on what we're looking for. Of course it doesn't have to be a 100% coverage, we will discuss it as you write in, but make up your mind about these points. We're not just looking for someone who can play our songs, but for someone who brings his own style and wants to push our music further. We're not looking for someone with rock star dreams, but for someone who loves metal and hardcore as we do, who loves music and who is willing to kick ass with us. so here we go:
- experienced concerning playing in a band and on stage
- appropriate skills on the instrument of course
- you have your own ideas to add to our sound
- musical background can be as open minded as you want, but the main thing should be death/thrash metal alongside with the brutal end of hard- and metalcore.
- rehearsing 2x/week in Zurich
