No human being is one-dimensional. With so many roles that encompass our existence - child, sibling, friend, lover, parent - how people come to know us relies heavily on context and circumstance. The same is also applicable in the musical realm.
At times, people are shocked to know that a bassist or drummer can sing, that a guitarist can also play wind instruments, that a vocalist is talented on a fret board. At some point in our lives, the desire to shed a stereotype and show oneself in another capacity manifests itself in order to breed a deeper understanding of the whole. Such is the driving force behind the newest musical endeavor by SENTENCED vocalist Ville Laihiala.

Of particular interest is the voice of Laihiala's lead and rhythm guitar, which ranges from a battered & bruised bluesy lament mid-way through "In Lust," and a toughened voice of experience in the guitar solo found in "Love Infernal," to the fortitude exuded in "Lay Your Heart To Rest."
With artwork and photos handled by SENTENCED drummer Vesa Ranta, Escapexstacy dares to ask: Have you ever invited your demons up from your personal hell for a candid, mature discussion? As the opening track so clearly recommends, "Temptation awaits…"
